The lovely people at Broadway Books love dogs.  They also love books about dogs.  On this evening,  we'll be celebrating the publication of two canine-related novels: the second in the Minerva Clark series -- "Minerva Clark Goes to the Dogs," which features a trio of troublesome corgis -- and Christine Fletcher's "Tallulah Falls," about a young girl in trouble and the dying dog who helps her.

Please join us -- and bring your well-behaved, on-a-leash dog.  We promise edible treats for all humans and canines in attendance.

Description On May 11, 2007, Katharine Hepburn would have been 99 years and 364 days old.  Her actual birthday is May 12, but I'll be at Powell's the day before, reading from "How to Hepburn: Lessons on Living from Kate the Great," my homage to the actress in possession of the most Best Actress oscars and finest cheek bones in the world.
